Κατάγομαι από την Ελλάδα και την Αυστρία. Σπούδασα φωτογραφία στο Τ.Ε.Ι. Αθηνών, στο τμήμα φωτογραφίας και οπτικοακουστικών μέσων. Η πτυχιακή μου εργασία είχε τίτλο “On Another Plane” και υπέυθυνος καθηγητής μου ήταν ο Σάββας Λαζαρίδης. Για την ανάπτυξή της, βασίστηκα κυρίως στο δοκίμιο του Michel Foucault περί ετεροτοπίας.
Δουλεύω κυρίως πάνω σε προσωπικά θέματα. Επηρεάστηκα πολύ στη δουλειά μου από τους Bernd & Hilda Becher, Lucinda Devlin, Candida Hoefer και Andreas Gursky, αλλά έχω ιδιαίτερη αδυναμία στον Duane Michals, τη Nan Goldin και τον Robert Mapplethorpe. Θεματολογικά κινουμαι στους χώρους της αστικής φωτογραφίας και τη στιγμιοτυπική φωτογραφία.
Έχω ασχοληθεί ευρέως με φωτογράφιση συναυλιών και μουσικών/θεατρικών παραστάσεων καθώς και με την δημιουργία προωθητικού υλικού για καλλιτέχνες.
Πέραν του φωτογραφικού, ασχολούμαι κατά κύριο λόγο με τη μουσική. Έχω σπουδές σε κλασική κιθάρα, λυρικό τραγούδι και πιάνο, είχα τη χαρά να συμμετέχω σε αρκετές συναυλίες, ενώ σιγά σιγά ξεκινώ και γράφω δικά μου κομμάτια.
English Translation
I’m from Austria and Greece. I have studied photography in the technical university of Athens, in the department of photography and audiovisual arts. My undergraduate thesis was entitled “Οn Αnother Πlane” and I was guided by Savvas Lazaridis. The whole project was based on the concept of heterotopia, as it has been described by Michel Foucault.
I'm mainly interested in exploring personal projects. I have been influenced in my work by Bernd & Hilda Becher, Lucinda Devlin, Candida Hoefer και Andreas Gursky, but I'm especially fond of Dueane Michals, Nan Goldin and Robert Mapplethorpe. I'm mostly centered around urban and "snapshot" photography.
I have worked a lot as a proffessional photographer, covering concerts, theatric and musical performances and I have also created promotional material for artists and events.
Apart from photography, my main interest is music, in which I have multiple studies (classical guitar, operatic singing, classical piano), some live performances and I am now beginning to take my first steps in the world of songwriting.
